I'm Jon Leer, a freelance technical and business writer based in New Hampshire. For more than 25 years I've helped companies — from startups to established enterprises — communicate what they know to the people who need to know it.
My career began in the technology sector, where I learned that the gap between what engineers build and what users understand is almost always a writing problem. I became the person who bridges that gap: someone who can sit with a subject matter expert, ask the right questions, and turn the answers into documentation that actually works.
Over the years I've expanded into business writing — white papers, case studies, blog posts, and marketing content — because the same skill applies: extract the real story, understand the audience, and write something that moves people to act.
